"I liked the quick and simple way of ordering a share of stock for someone and have the stock framed. Only thing I which you had was the ability to order the same stock but be able to obtain as many shares as you want (ie 100 shares of Disney stock). This would allow a parent or grandparent to go to one spot and buy the certificate as we are currently doing or buy the stock in larger quantities such as 10 shares, 50 shares or 100 shares. Makes for a great present and a jump start on their future."

"If you're not a US-citizen but wish to truly own stock in your own name outside of the DTCC's hands, giveashare is an easy way to do it. It saved me the hassle of having to set up yet another broker account (not all brokers allow you to direct register shares with a company's transfer agent) and I would pick them again for that convenience."
