SpaceX Share Registration: How to Access Your Fidelity Stock Transfer Account

After your SpaceX share registration is complete, you should receive a letter in the mail from Fidelity Stock Transfer. This letter is important. It includes information Fidelity uses to help identify your shareholder account, including a Work Item number and the last four digits of your Fidelity Stock Transfer account number.

Fidelity Stock Transfer, not GiveAshare, handles access to your registered shareholder account after the stock registration process is complete.

Important note

Please do not send W-9 forms, Social Security numbers, or tax documents to GiveAshare. These documents must be submitted directly to Fidelity Stock Transfer.

What you may receive from Fidelity Stock Transfer

Your letter may ask you to submit a W-9 form by uploading it to your personal Fidelity “Vault” or mailing it to Fidelity Stock Transfer.

The letter may also include:

  • The last four digits of your Fidelity Stock Transfer account number
  • A Work Item number
  • Fidelity Stock Transfer contact information
  • Instructions for submitting your W-9

Contact Fidelity Stock Transfer directly and ask how to complete your W-9 electronically. You may need Fidelity to send you a DocuSign link or help connect your Fidelity Stock Transfer account to your online Fidelity profile. When contacting Fidelity, have your letter available. Include your Work Item number and the last four digits of your Fidelity Stock Transfer account number if requested.

Yes. If you already have a Fidelity brokerage account, Fidelity Stock Transfer still needs your completed W-9 so your SSN can be added to your Fidelity Stock Transfer account and linked to your existing Fidelity profile.

Contact Fidelity Stock Transfer directly to request a DocuSign to upload your completed W-9 form, or print the form, complete it, and mail it to the mailing address above.

If you do not already have a Fidelity relationship, Fidelity Stock Transfer may need additional information to establish your online access.

Based on our current understanding, you may need to complete:

  1. A W-9 form
  2. A Person Profile Maintenance Form

No. Once the share registration is complete, Fidelity Stock Transfer maintains the official shareholder account. GiveAshare cannot log in to your Fidelity account, upload your W-9, access your Vault, or make account changes on your behalf.

We can help explain the general process, but Fidelity Stock Transfer must assist with account access, W-9 submission, and online setup.

Have your Fidelity Stock Transfer letter available. Fidelity may ask for:

  • Your name
  • Your mailing address
  • The Work Item number from your letter
  • The last four digits of your Fidelity Stock Transfer account number
  • The company name, SpaceX
  • Information needed to verify your identity

If your share registration has been completed and you have not received a letter after the expected mailing window, contact GiveAshare first so we can confirm the registration status and mailing details.

If the registration is complete, we can request a new letter be sent on your behalf by Fidelity Stock Transfer.
